Massini Group promotes Hessong and Johnson to support growth

Massini Group, a business-to-business (B2B) database and relationship marketing firm, recently promoted Greg Hessong to Vice President of Consulting Services and Brian Johnson to Director of Consulting Operations to support the company’s current and planned growth.

In his new role, Vice President of Consulting Services, Hessong will be responsible for enabling the rapid assimilation of Massini Group methods and processes by new campaign managers, to ensure consistent sharing of best practices among campaign teams and, overall, to be a resource to campaign teams in delivering breakthrough results for clients. Hessong will continue to lead campaign teams for strategic Massini Group clients.

“Greg was the first employee Massini Group founder Joe Krisky hired. From the start, he has been deeply involved in our B2B database marketing processes and has an in-depth understanding of the work we’ve done for some of the best marketing companies in the world. Now he’s in a position to make sure those practices are implemented for all our clients,” said Kermit Yensen, chief executive officer for Massini Group.

In his new role, Director of Consulting Operations, Johnson will be responsible to provide operational support for campaign execution and team management. He will ensure the best use of campaign team resources in order to provide optimum results for clients. Johnson will also continue to manage client projects.

“We are putting Brian’s experience with Dell, one of our largest and most operationally intensive clients, to work in his new role - making sure we’ve got resources matched most favorably with client projects,” stated Yensen.

Greg Hessong, Vice President of Consulting Services
Greg Hessong, Vice President of Consulting Services, has more than 13 years marketing and sales experience. Over the past nine years at Massini Group he has helped clients such as American Express OPEN, Dell Public, Hewlett-Packard IPGS and StorageTek achieve major breakthroughs in campaign results and has optimized their program performance. Prior to Massini Group, Hessong was a sales executive at Tactica Corp, a startup software company, where he also developed and managed an inside sales team as Director of Sales Operations. Before that, he spent several years in sales and marketing at Sequent Computer Systems. Hessong holds a BS in Graphic Design from Portland State University.

Brian Johnson, Director of Consulting Operations
Brian Johnson, Director of Consulting Services, has more than 10 years high-tech marketing experience. Over the past five years at Massini Group he has worked with Dell, NCR and several mid-sized clients. Prior to Massini Group, Johnson managed clients like Microsoft and Sharp Electronics at Babcock and Jenkins, and Nortel Networks at US Web/CKS. Before that Johnson served as the Northwest Director of Marketing for the Paging Group at Air Touch Communications. He holds a BA in Communications from the University of Washington and an MBA from University of Oregon.
